So that's the final title for the movie, "Brendan and the Secret of Kells".
Buena Vista is apparently starting the official marketing, so things are finally moving, I can't wait to see it completed.

Marcelo, I'm glad you like that kind of effect, I love it too. I think the art direction is the strongest point of the movie. And you should see the background supervisor, he's very young but so talented..

Marco, il film e' quasi tutto impacchettato e doveva uscire a Natale, ma mi pare di aver capito che per motivi di distribuzzionestrateggica dovremo aspettare fino alla primavera seguente.. O_O
Comunque, la lasagna non la negherei mai a nessuno e da buona siciliana le porzioni sono sempre belle abbondanti. Se capiti a Torino sei prenotato!

Sylvain, thank you and yes, we are very happy to be here! We were planning a little trip somewhere close to Turin these months, Venice is really not far and Alf has never been there before...mmm! ;) Good luck with your projects this year, take care my friend!
Jeroen, I'm very glad you like it. Those "vertical lines" you mentioned have been actually the hardest part in the animation process :) The style is very suitable for illustration so learning to turn and play with the character shapes, but at the same time keeping all the tangent lines doing their graphic job took a while to the animation crew :) After those first tricky days it all flew nicely and to me it looks lovely, I'm really happy of having being part of that film.

Al momento sono freelance in Italia, ho lavorato in Irlanda per quasi tre anni tra Dublino e Kilkenny, e ora sono qui da un paio di mesi. Ho fatto ancora qualche lavoro per Cartoon Saloon dopo essere tornata a Torino, quindi si, un po' entrambe le cose come dici tu ;)

Hey!! what a surprise! i should have worked on this movie too, but for some reasons i didn't. The final aspect is really cool and i've got to admit it is still better to what i saw two years ago.
What kind of job did you do on it? animation? really great! keep rocking!
